Venturing into type design as a studio, we wanted to explore the limits of the definition of a typographic specimen. Through assigning different facts and meanings to specific metrics of the typeface correlating to sea, land, air, man and machine. The series was created out of digital and analogue scans to test a multi-weight typeface as a visual element with each poster catering to one weight out of five.
